Where your images and descriptions come from
The images and descriptions on your Storefront are collated from publicly available, third-party sources. We do this to give you a head start, so your products have useful information from day one rather than starting blank.
This public data is used to automatically create your product profiles, including their images and category information.
Keeping your products accurate
Keeping this information accurate and up to date is down to you. You can review and update any product at any time:
- Go to the Inventory section of your Unify dashboard.
- Select the product you'd like to edit.
- Update its image, description, and category information as needed.
Connecting your POS
Depending on your setup, we may be able to pull product information directly from your POS system, saving you from updating it manually. If you think this might work for you, just let us know and we'll look into connecting it.
